"blu Smart Pack Ciggarettes"?o.O

              This article was kind of wierd. Apperently someone had the idea "smokers" want to be with other smokers and they also run into the problem of not being able to smoke in bars or anything anymore. So, as you know, they created the "e ciggarette" well the "blu" is a little more advanced. It's similar to an "e cigarette" as far as being able to take it into the bar but it will vibrate and light up [it connects to the internet] when another "blu" cig user is within 50 feet. What do you guys think of this? Balding? Maybe you should look into this....

      Alot of males seem to run into the problem of balding. Not only in their thirty's some kids our age too. Well fear no longer, because there is the Artas. What is Artas you ask? Well none other than a robot who can harvest your hair folicles [hehe sounds funny I know;]. How's it done? You sit in the chair and it removes the remaining hair about 1 millimeter while the robots hand [controlled by a doctor] give you small dermal punches [which would mean just on the top of the skin] while harvesting folicles and are later transplanted. And your head will gradually produce hair over a couple months. It's quicker and less invasive than the other procedure usually used and requires less people. However you have to have black or brown hair [for now] or it wont't work.

Wow that is so crazy! No bandages even that is pretty cool I don't know about all of you but I'm very excited to see what will come out of health technology in the future=]. Let me hear what you think...

My surgeon...DRUNK?!

    WOAHHH this article kind of freaked me out apperently there has actually been a study going on about surgeons drinking the day before an opperation and it having an      effect on them the next day! I think the results of them opperating like this are pretty obviouse, they found the surgeons that drank the day before preformed worse, especially the newer ones. Apperently they tested in groups of 3 and 3 out of all the ones who had alcohol preformed slower and made errors all 3 times, go figure right? I mean you have to kind of know it's going to affect you the day after a little as well. I certainly hope my surgeon knows that geez think of what a disaster it could become! I mean if someone is having surgery on their heart and the surgeon messes up it's fatal. What do you all think about this?

A higher detail brain map!=]

What could 5million dollars on one sheet bring right? Wrong I think it's actually well worth the money it is way more advancced than any other brain map. It could help diagnose more things, help scientist understand it better. What do you guys think? I think if they get more detailed with things thats better I mean let's face it scientists are always descovering things and improving what they know. They used to think an atom didn't exist there is always room for improvment and if that could help them succeed in helping people I'm all for it leave your feedback=].

Video games actually, deemed "healthy"=]

Our busy research friends say that playing video            games can help with motor skills. 12 surveys show that it has improved upper arm strength and mobility in stroke patients 5X better than people just undergoing physical therapy alone. Also that wii and playstation games have helped brain stroke by improving the brains ability to create new nerve cell connections and they are continuing to test and see if it can improve other things too. =]

I think that this is actually a pretty believable argument. I mean think about it, sure you shouldn't play video games 24-7 go outside or do something active. But a little here and there I can totally see improving those things. Especially the Wii, it's a very active system [trust me I have one] my arms and body start to hurt after a while sometimes because it requires so much moving and I don't know about you video game players but I get REALLY into a game when playing it lol ;] but hopefully they continue with good results in the future this could be very beneficial. Your thoughts?

Facebook a little harsh?

Well, according to the article I read today a woman who posted a picture of her breast, as she is a breast cancer survivor she posted it showing her scar from it and her profile was deleted and pic was removed. Facebook went on to say if she posted it and didnt show the "nipple" that was fine but since she did, it had to be done. That they have to follow the same guide lines as tv which says no "nipple".

Well personally I don't know what to think I understand it's a nudity thing but come on, she had cancer, it wasn't like she was jux posing becasuse she wanted to show her boob. But at the same time it would be hard to monotor weather people where doing it for reasons like that or jux because they wanted to. And why is it ok just as long as the nipple isn't exposed? Its the same thing so why's it such a big deal? I don' t know...what does everyone else say?

MICROBOTS!

Well technology keeps getting better and better! They invented a microbot that is designed to help with diseases that impair eye vision such as, macular degeneration. This little robot apperently target the location and treat it with drugs. It can stay in your eye for months at a time, and before they are removed they leave one more dose of medicine in your eye. They don't know how much it's going to cost yet and right now they are testing it on pigs. Wow I don't know about you guys but this is pretty dang cool. It's helthier and less invasive for the pacients. I wish I knew if it was affordable though because I think it would have to be or it wouldn't get bought very much. I hope they start doing it with humans soon, if it could save eye sight that would be pretty amazing and make people alot happier. And the fact that it's actually a mini robot blows my mind, and it's kind of scary to think about at the same time because it's slightly on the creepy side lol ;] what do you guys think?

Wow..I Can Understand Different Food Preference, But COME ON!!

  In London in February started actually serving breast milk ice cream!!!!! It costs about 22.50 and it's served in a martini glass [with other flavors]. They are still doing testing to make sure it's one hundred percent safe from disease and ecetera. URL BELOW

               OK WOWW!!! Alright this is weird.. I mean come on that's a little gross. Sure our babies eat it and it's healthy but you can't tell me they think babies are going to be the only one to try it. Reading the article it seemed like adults were just as curiouse. What do you guys think? Crossing the line, or just experimenting?=p   To me that gives ice cream kind of a weird new meaning eww!

What if you could nix the need for organ donors?

   Today I read about bio printing. What is that you ask? Well scientists have come up with a printer that might also be able to print out bio material in the future. So far they have designed it to engineer an exact silicone replica of the "donor". With this instead it could be created exactly for the person who needs to use it without worry of the body rejecting it. They still have a long way to go before the point of real human tissue and cells but that's where they want it to end up. It could be anything from an ear or finger to kneecap! They are still testing though so we will just have to keep our eyes and ears open for updates;]

            WOW! Not gonna lie this article kind of scared me that's really mind blowing to think about a printer, PRINTING OUT a real live LIMB! But this would be revolutionary and could even change the medical world. Heart transplants  and things of that nature, would be way less risky [if it eliminates the risk of rejection] and countless other things. I think this could be a good thing but at the same time it's hard for me to imagine something that far advanced at this point. I want to hear what you all think too. Scientist's at it again!=]

   Just when you thought technology couldn't get any more advanced....it did!!! Apperently they are working on a robot being controlled by our thoughts! They have so far tested on a monkey and all the monkey has to do is think of what it wants to do [within reason] and the robot will do it. For now all it is, is an arm that the monkey can make turn a handle and eat marshmellows with. Tiny electrodes are placed on the monkeys brain and can conduct activity from neurons to guide the arm through simple tasks. They are working on making it more advanced movements and want to test it on humans soon.

WOW!!! OK! Talk about crazyness! This is sooo cool how far technology is starting to come! Think about how good it will be for people with dissabilities to be able to think of an action like [in the future] taking a step or grabbing something they couldn't before. All I'm saying is way to go scientists! Could wearing earphones cost you money?

    A man in New York was hit by a mack truck and drug 30 feet all because he was listening to an i pod and couldn't hear the trucks beeping in reverse. Researchers have been trying to figure out why pedestrians fatalities have gone up for the first time in 4 years, but they are seeming to think that it's all because of handheld electronic devices. So states all over are starting to consider banning things like cell phone use when crossing the street or, no use at all [same with i pods]. Oregon already wants to start fining people $90 for wearing their headphones while on a bike, where as Virginia wants to ban electronic usage all together.

Personally, I don't think that pedestrian fatalities are all to blame on electronic devices. Take for example, when I went bowling this weekend their was a girl sooo attached to her phone she actually was bowling with one hand, and talking on her phone in the other. Not everyone is like that though, I know plenty of people who have no problem waiting a couple minutes to check their texts or talk to someone on the phone. I don't think it's cell phones or i pods fault I think it's ultimately up to the person, if you get hit by a car because you just can't leave your cell phone alone while crossing the street that's your fault and as far as i pod's keep one ear out and you'll be fine. Or maybe look both ways like we were taught in kindergarten but don't try to ban electronics because of peoples stupidity. What do you guys think?

     Robots teaching kids?

  Most kids just go to school to learn or in some cases, learn at home. But have you ever heard of a robot teaching? Well scientist came up with a way for children who are too sick to go to school and learn, to still be able to get an education. A young kid who is diagnosed with Leukemia can't leave home because of their weak immune system, but with help of a robot, can have school now. It's called the R.BOT 100, and can makes it possible for a teacher to teach things like geography, math ecetera to a sick kid.  It costs about 3,000, is equipped with a web cam and mic so that he can interact with other classmate online. It will sit in the classroom and you can control it [like turning the head etc].

WOW!!! Personally, in my opinion I toottaalllyyy give massive props to technology today and the people who are working on it everyday! I think this could be one of the best inventions ever! No kid should be denied an education because they literally can't go to school. It gives them a way to go to school without the danger of them going. Not to mention how happy it must have made the kids who miss being able to go to school everyday. Considering, it's not that expensive and it has a battery life of 10 hours!! This is definatly a ood breakthrough in technology! But it also makes me wonder if people who don't really need it, will get one just so they don't have to go to school. Because let's face it lol that's how kids think. But for the purpose it was actually made for KUDOS!!! Keep up the good work this is amazing and world changing.
